5. SMS and Text Messaging

JM Cleaners sends text message reminders about pickup and delivery to customers who have asked to receive them. We never add anyone to text messaging without their express consent, which you may provide in any of the following ways:

• Verbally — by giving us your mobile number and telling us, in person at our shop or over the phone, that you would like to receive text messages.
• Through a web form — by submitting your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages through a form on our website, such as our Get in Touch form.
• Via text — by texting our keyword TEXTJM to our messaging number.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages themselves, and only to that extent. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone else, sold, or rented, under any circumstances.

We send two kinds of message: a reminder the day before your scheduled route day asking whether you have garments ready for collection, and a notice when our driver is on the way so you can leave them at your door. Message frequency varies, and is typically one to two messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not affect your pickup and delivery service in any way.
